The Disciples School of Ministry (DSM) is designed to enhance people learning the bible and ministry. In order for students to understand ministry, callings, gifts of the Spirit, and the power of God, time must be spent studying the bible. Effective Christians understand the will of God. Ephesians 5:17 says, "Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is." God has a purpose and a mission for every Christian. All churches need pastors, elders, deacons, ministers, teachers, the gift of prophecy, gifts of the Spirit, the gift of administration and laborers on its foundation. Therefore, it is imperative to teach how these areas of ministry build the local church and establish the body of Christ.

DSM teaches its students Luke 4:18-19 (18 “The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; 19 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.” ) is where effective ministry begins for all people and it must be taught how to bring forth the gospel of the ministry of Jesus Christ.
