Reaching the World with the Word of God |
The goal of the Disciples School of Ministry (DSM) is to educate and strengthen the mind and soul of its students in the Word of God with the intention to cultivate workers for the Lord. It is our desire to assist God’s people in the development and harvesting of the Fruit of the Spirit. We endeavor to see God’s people operate in the gifts of the Spirit while impacting and prospering the community and public through their works.

With this in mind, the Disciples School of Ministry endeavors:
- To introduce individuals to the fundamental principles of Bible study while providing a solid foundation through the word of God;
- To build upon the core doctrinal beliefs of the foundation of TBWC;
- To deliver rigorous training to believers that will enable them to be more effective in the furtherance of the gospel of Jesus Christ while supporting the vision of TBWC;
- To define in great depth the principles of processes of biblical interpretation;
- To explore and gain better understanding of Christian philosophy;
- To become a fully accredited institute of higher learning providing a certificate of ordination to those who successfully complete the courses; and
- To provide exemplary learning environments, to cultivate in our students the ability to critically analyze information, and to express ideas clearly and effectively in speech and in writing.

Why enroll in the Disciples School of Ministry? |

TBWC has the awesome purpose to establish a church organization for the preaching, teaching and spreading of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The believer has been commissioned by the Lord Jesus Christ to make disciples of all nations and TEACHING them to observe all that He commands. Do you desire to do the will of the Lord Jesus Christ? Do you know the will of the Lord Jesus Christ? Are you confident in your ability to properly study and interpret the word of God? Are you influencing a nation to walk upright before the Lord? New Believers and New Members Class
Sunday mornings, 9:15-9:50 a.m. Classes are held in the Black Box room at Henry Wise H.S.
PM202 Defining the Gifts of the Spirit
Saturdays, July 10, 17, Aug. 7, 14, 21, Sept. 4, 11 and 18 from 9:00-10:30 a.m. Class will be cancelled the 4th and 5th Saturday of each month.
GS203 Lifestyle of Christ
Saturdays, Oct 2, 9, 16 and Nov. 6, 13 and 20 from 9:00-10:30 a.m. Class will be cancelled the 4th and 5th Saturday of each month.
Location: All classes will be held at 9450 Marlboro Pike, Unit #4, Upper Marlboro, Maryland 20772 except New Members class.
